Meet with a Lawyer for a one-on-one consultation. Topics may include: record expungement, eviction and renters' rights. We have partnered with Prairie State Legal Services of Illinois to have a lawyer onsite at the library for one-on-one meetings. Register on the library event calendar and a representative from Prairie State Legal will call individual patrons to complete a screening process in the days leading up to the in-person meeting. Registrations are for a 20-minute free session and are extremely limited.
