By attending, you will be joining a large and growing group of people who have gathered around the nationally best selling book series, Stitch ‘n Bitch by Debbie Stoller. The library is proud to join an internationally established knitting club with over 1000 clubs in 239 locations worldwide, in a tradition that dates back to World War II. Other local groups include Evanston, Highland Park, Elgin (Gail Borden Library), and Mt. Prospect. This group is for those who enjoy knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, and other crafts. Enjoy pie, coffee, and conversation while you use the library’s space to work on your project du jour. Join others in a lively atmosphere who share a love for learning to knit, crochet, or purl for the first time, as well as those who are well experienced in the needle arts.
